The first four Game Days of the 2026/27 season of the Champions Hockey League are firmly behind us, and looking back, we saw our fair share of goals across the 48 games played in Europe's elite club ice hockey competition. Players from all positions have been pitching in, with over 60 players finishing on a point-per-game average or higher!
However, there is a select set of eight players who have performed at the highest level and been irreplaceable assets to their team, netting seven or more points across the early September period. Let's take a look at who they are!
The Three Musketeers | Noebels, Russell & MacLeod
Kölner Haie have taken the Champions Hockey League by storm, rewriting history books on Game Day 3 by setting a new attendance record of 18,104, and dominating the CHL scoring leaderboard, taking all of the top three places.
Marcel Noebels and his 7G and 4A reigns supreme over all other players so far, while teammates Patrick Russell (5G, 4A) and Gregor MacLeod (1G, 8A) are second and third, respectively, with nine points each. What a trio of elite players!
The Perfect Split | Filip Zadina
Since moving from the San Jose Sharks to the Swiss Alps, Filip Zadina has shined for HC Davos and has now shown the rest of Europe just what he brings to the ice. Four games into the 2026/27 CHL season, Zadina has scored four goals and four assists, displaying his perfect team-first approach and equally his confidence to take it upon himself to score.
Swedish Snipers | Jonathan Pudas & Lucas Elvenes
A duo of Swedish players - defenceman Jonathan Pudas of Skellefteå AIK and forward Lucas Elvenes of the Växjö Lakers - are also very high up the list of Top Scorers after Game Day 4, both scoring 2G and 4A four games into the new season.
Pudas, a veteran of six past CHL seasons, has already surpassed his best-ever record of six points, while Elvenes is riding high in his first-ever season of Europe's biggest club ice hockey stage.
Best of the Rest | Leonhard Pföderl & Carter Robertson
Eisbären Berlin forward Leonhard Pföderl and HC Pilsen D-man Carter Robertson round out the Top 8 Scorers after Game Day 4. While Carter has scored seven assists and zero goals, providing crucial support to Pilsen's spectacular forward lines over the opening two weeks of CHL action, Pföderl has led the Berlin charge with 5G and 2A, helping steer the ship as the reigning DEL champions went from back-to-back losses on Game Days 1 and 2 to much-needed wins on Game Day 3 and 4.
